I am studying English because that is the language of the country that i live in. I believe i should understand what's going on around me i need to learn the language of my new country, so I will be able to communicate with everybody. Also the language will play a big part when it comes to finding a job in the future. Plus the English Language is consider the most common language in the world now.
b) Do you use English very much when you're not in this class? Explain what situations you need to use it in.
I always use English everyday and everywhere. Like with my kids, my husband, his family, on campus, and wherever i go. also what helped me to learn the language is watching American TV because I think listening to English all the time helped me in learning the language. My language is not a common language here in America and that's why I use English all the time. I believe that if anybody wants to learn new language always try to speak it as often as you can.
c) How do you feel when you use English? Are you sometimes nervous, comfortable, or...?
I use English every day in my life, so usually I feel comfortable. However, sometimes I feel kind of nervous and that's when I do not know how I can express what I want to say or how I feel, and that's because sometimes I try to translate from my language to English and that's sometimes it does not work the way I want it, and I start to get nervous and I do not know what I want to say. Therefor, I always try to use English as often as I can.

Do you think watching TV is the best way to learn English?
ReplyDeleteOf course not,but I think the Amercian tv helped me alot with my listening and understandig English faster espcially, if you don't use English alot in your daily life.

ReplyDeleteI meet so many Mexican handle the English well, but they speak English very fast and soft.Maybe cause of the pronunciation of Spanish like that. Ddi you often use English in your country before you had been here,and when do you begin to learn English?

ReplyDeleteIn my country, English is consider the second languge. However, I never spoke it. I only used English inside the Class.
